Physical/Occupational Therapy
At Movement Physio and Wellness, we help people get rid of pelvic floor problems and joint pain to get back to the Colorado mountain activities they love. Physical therapy services such as dry needling, manual therapy, massage, exercise, Pilates, and Kinesio tape can provide pain relief and help restore normal movement patterns to get you back to your workouts and everyday activities.
Pilates
Pilates is an excellent exercise approach to help promote core stability and challenge the mind-body connection through varying levels of core exercises. Pilates is especially useful as a tool for retraining pelvic floor and core function in pregnancy, postpartum, and any person experiencing a pelvic floor condition. Our Pilates classes are taught by Dr. Andrea, owner of Movement Physio and Wellness and Doctor of Physical Therapy. Dr. Andrea is trained and certified in Pilates Matwork exercises with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI).
Yoga
Our Prenatal Yoga class is specifically designed for pregnant people seeking a gentle, supportive, and safe space to nurture their bodies and spirits during this transformative time. This class provides support at all stages of pregnancy, providing a comforting environment where practitioners can connect with their bodies, babies, and parents. Soly will guide you through carefully selected poses and breathing techniques that aim to relieve common pregnancy-related discomforts and prepare for childbirth.
About Soly: Soly (So-Lee, They/She) is a Boricuan yogi who was born and raised in New Mexico. As a preteen, Soly was diagnosed with a chronic illness and underwent multiple surgeries in attempt to manage their symptoms. At 17, she discovered her yoga practice and fell so deeply in love with it that she was teaching by 19. A year into their career, one of Soly’s students told her that she felt like her ceremonial and intuitive teaching style would make her a great fit for birth work. Since that conversation, Soly has made supporting pregnant and postpartum people their priority as a yogi and has gone on to become a full spectrum doula and childbirth educator. Soly’s classes are intended to gift their students space to connect to their bodies, their potential, and both past and future generations.

With a background in cheer you can expect a high energy class that will push you to find what your body is truly capable of.
